In July of 2022 San Diego duo Well Well Well released Palm Springs, a combination of songwriter’s Seton Edgerton and Daniel Nichol’s breezy coastal pop combined with the psychedelic jazz arrangements and expressive musicianship of the Mattson 2. Influenced by 70’s AOR, Japanese City Pop, and lo-fi indie psych, the group explored uncharted waters of modern indie pop and ended up with an album that perfectly combines the improvisational jazz instincts of The Mattson 2 with the catchy songwriting of Well Well Well.

One year later they’re back with a collection of outtakes and demos from the Palm Springs sessions titled Palm Springs - Demos & Deep Cuts, releasing August 25th on Royal Oakie. Kept in the vaults for years, these tracks have defined their sound and creativity, including 15 tracks of remote recordings, demos, and B-Sides that haven’t yet been released, all recorded in vacation rentals throughout Southern California from Joshua Tree, Palm Springs, Big Bear Lake, Idyllwild, and Jacumba Hot Springs to Mt. Palomar, Lake Cuyamaca & Point Loma.
